I’ve been bogged down with a lot of work lately and have not been able to devote as much time as I would have liked to building up this contest blog. Hence, I’m offering to sell this blog to a committed buyer who would like to run a contest blog.

So what will you get if you buy the blog?

My audience has been international bloggers so the new owner will get a universal audience. You’ll get my Feedburner account with all the subscribers (around 15 at this time - not a lot but if you can afford the time to post regularly, you’ll be able to increase this). You’ll get this fabulous and easy-to-remember domain name which is registered (till October 2008) as part of my hosting plan at Top Hosting Center. I’ve got around $41 in my hosting account which will be the new owner’s so the next 6 months of hosting (till almost the end of October) will be paid for you. After that, you can change to a new host or carry on with the $5.95 monthly plan I’m using which gives you around 250 GB disk space and 3000 GB bandwidth, free site builder, non-stop support, instant updates with no hidden costs, 100 MySQL databases, PHP 4 etc. What’s more, the new owner will get the blog design which was specially designed for Contestime. I think some bloggers pay hundreds for a unique design so that should save you some trouble in getting someone else to do a theme for you. The new owner will get all the above for his or her bid price but any other extra costs such as domain transfer fees etc will have to be borne by the new buyer and will not be part of the sale price.

Let me add that I am in no rush to sell the blog and I won’t mind keeping it if I don’t get a satisfactory bid so please don’t send in ludicrously low bids. I’m just opening the door to someone who can spend more time in developing the blog to take ownership. If no one suitable is found, I’ll continue to run it.

However, I must add that the bid price is not my main consideration in selecting a buyer so I am still welcoming more bids from all of you. I will only sell this blog if I find someone suitable.
